Spiral plate heat exchanger (SPHE) is a heat exchanger made of two parallel metal plates to form two spiral channels, and hot and cold fluids are exchanged through the spiral plate wall. It is a high-efficiency heat exchanger suitable for steam-steam, steam-liquid, and liquid-liquid heat exchange.

Spiral plate heat exchanger are available in two types: detachable and non-detachable.
